Product Engineering

It integrates knowledge, technology and industrial development of new products, being responsible for the assembly of prototypes as well as the functional tests of the components and final product.

Located in the Automotive Intelligence Center AIC in Amorebieta, it has an area of ​​400 m2 divided into a technical office and a testing area.

Its main activities are:

• mechanical tests (high/low cycle fatigue, thermomechanical fatigue, traction, etc.).
• vibration tests (random, shock, etc.).
• materials analysis / microstructural investigation.
• assembly and functional testing (prototypes / components).
• cleaning tests.
• environmental tests (thermal shock, humidity, etc.) and corrosion.
• electrical and electronic tests.

Pierburg Systems

It is an Engineering that integrates knowledge of advanced manufacturing processes and the ability to design and manufacture assembly lines.

These lines are designed according to the Lean philosophy, with the latest technology and meeting all the quality and productivity requirements required by the automotive industry.
